Rachel recently completed her PhD is counseling psychology and is not yet taking clients. She will begin taking clients in Wisconsin in late September 2024.

Research

Rachel is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. She studies the intersection of reproduction and mental health—particularly abortion—and has a passion for mentoring students.

Training

Rachel has been an award-winning public speaker since the age of 6. She provides trainings and consultation on an array of subjects, primarily mental health and abortion. Her trainings can be tailored to a variety of audiences including mental health professionals and those working in repro.

About Rachel (she/her)

Rachel is trained as a mental health therapist and academic researcher. She also has more than 10 years of volunteer, work, and leadership experience in repro and other abortion-positive spaces.

From 2021-2023, Rachel was the Executive Director of Exhale Pro-Voice—a nonprofit organization providing research-driven emotional support to people after their abortions.

Rachel currently offers trainings on abortion and mental health for undergraduate and graduate students, mental health professionals, abortion/repro-related organizations, and lay persons.
